If you knew someone that killed someone or nearly did...?

If the person paid for what they did, and really is now has stepped out and changed. Then what is life about - if we cannot give the benefit of the doubt and a second chance? However, you will not be able to see the person the same, especially if you are a bit afraid of them. It sounds that way to me. It also sounds like the person was needing to tell the truth to you, accept it....and take each day at a time. "accept the person for who they are not whom you think they should be and try to do so unconditionally." Its hard. Good luck to you but most to whomever you are talking about. Its a uphill battle.
