Do i need a boyfriend?

i have known this boy for about 6 years now, we have been on and off since then!. He is a lovely boy but can be a bit dirty minded. I can cope with all that. My best friend has recently got a boyfriend , again shes has known him for ages, for valentines day he booked them a table at TGI Fridays. I get days where i think i should patch things up with him as i want a relationship like my best friends, but then i get days where i dont want to be pressured and be labeled as someones girlfriends.. but i feel if i dont get a boyfriend people might think im a lesbian?. i just dont want one at the moment i dont think, but seeing my best friend with her boyfriend makes me want one, but i dont want a boyfriends for the sake of it? :/
