Does my baby eat too much?

He is 1 1/2 months old. And he eats 7-8 ounces every 2-3 hours. Should I be concerned? I'm not over feeding him because that's what he cries for. We try changing him, soothing him, burping him, and everything else before we feed him but it's what he wants! Some people have told me that he may end up needing to have cereal early. What do you all think? I'll ask my doctor at his two month app I was just wondering. Thanks.
