Why does my skirt look like this?

i wear a flared pleated at the front plain at the back, black school skirt its nearly up to my knees but why do the ends stick out like a triangle making the corners at the end look wider? and how can you fix this pleaasse help soon if u cn prety pretty please wiv a cherry on the top :)
