How Do I Apologize To My Crush?

Okay. Well there's this guy I like and I'm pretty sure he likes me too. He called me pretty and he asked me out on a date. Well at our lunch table I sit my him, but then this girl started to sit on the other side of him. She's gotten really flirty with him. She wears the lowest cut shirts and touches him all the time. He finds it annoying but is too nice to say anything. Well I can't take her sitting there anymore and today I was ranting to my friend about how I can't stand her. She overheard me and called me a *****. I do not like getting involved in drama nor do I want to. So I ignored her and went back to ranting to my friend. I called her some not too nice names and my crush heard me. I think he's mad at me. When my crush found out that I liked him he told me he wanted to get to know me before we actually started dating. By me being not too nice at lunch, I feel like I've ruined my chances with him. Me being mean is not what I'm like at all. I'm a nice person who doesn't get involved with drama. So I'm thinking about apologizing to him for the way I acted. What do I say? And do you think my chances with him are shot? Thanks so much!!
